This is a Railway Timekeeper by John Beesley, Liverpool.

Complete cased movement that is not working and has missing seconds hand.

Placed in a sterling Silver case which is hallmarked Chester 1875

It is a Full Plate Fusee Movement with ‘Liverpool Runner’ train placement.

This beautiful example of an antique pocket watch has an English lever escapement with compensated bi-metallic balance, is jewelled to the fusee and has a Scarce fenestrated balance cock.
