It is in excellent condition and runs well.

The original white enamel dial is signed and remains in very good condition, with only a few light scratches. The watch is fitted with fine gold hands.

The gold case is truly exquisite, with intricate detailing. It is stamped with the movement number 396 on the stem. The gold band is embellished with delicate blue enamel accents, and the back features a central panel of blue guilloche enamel. Pearl-set rings with rope twist borders complete the design. The hinges are in excellent condition, and the bezel flips open when the stem is depressed. The watch is protected by a high dome crystal.

Overall, the case is in very good condition, with only a few light scratches on the enamel back. There is one small chip in the blue enamel edge decoration, and an old solder repair to the gold rope twist on the front bezel at 9 o'clock.

The Vaucher (or Vauchez) family originated from Fleurier, Switzerland, and produced a large number of highly skilled watchmakers. This particular timepiece showcases the family's craftsmanship and attention to detail.
