This is a stunning 18th-century English verge pocket watch with a champleve dial that has a calendar feature. The watch has a silver pair case and features a deep full plate fire gilt movement with Egyptian pillars. It has a fusee and chain with a worm and wheel barrel set up between the plates. The winged cock is pierced and engraved with a mask, while the steel coqueret and pierced and engraved foot add to the watch's elegant appeal. The balance is made of plain steel and features a silver regulator disc.

The dial is made of signed silver champleve and has an engraved brass edge. The watch also has a small circular aperture for the gilt date indication, Roman and Arabic numerals, blue steel beetle, and poker hands. The silver pair cases match and feature a silver pendant and stirrup bow with the maker’s mark "TB" and a coronet above it.
