The hour markers are replaced with Arabic numerals for the five-minute intervals. The dial is complemented by blue steel beetle and poker hands.

The watch is powered by a full plate fire gilt movement with round pillars. The movement boasts a pierced and engraved cock, as well as a silver regulator disc. It operates on a fusee and chain mechanism with a worm and wheel barrel setup located between the plates. The timekeeping is ensured by a plain three-arm steel balance and a blue steel spiral hairspring.
