This is a stunning 18th-century English verge pocket watch with a champleve dial that has a calendar feature. The winged cock is pierced and engraved with a mask, while the steel coqueret and pierced and engraved foot add to the watch's elegant appeal. The balance is made of plain steel and features a silver regulator disc.

The dial is made of signed silver champleve and has an engraved brass edge. The watch also has a small circular aperture for the gilt date indication, Roman and Arabic numerals, blue steel beetle, and poker hands.
